Just a few quick reminders – if you’ve been laying on the green or garlands at your families tombstones.

  1. Put a note to yourself somewhere to revisit the cemetery before January 30 & remove your decorations.
  2. Keep current a date check on each cemetery you have decorations out at.  Many post a date of last pickup of decorations.
  3. Take pictures before taking the decorations down.  As a remembrance & if you use artificial flowers etc – replacement in the next holiday season.
  4. Ever wonder where most unclaimed holiday decorations go at a cemetery?  –  The Trash!
  5. And also, if you find your decorations removed from a tombstone or two – do not take it personally.  Check with the cemetery office about them.

So next week another Tombstone Tuesday
